Harlen is a Fender endorsed guitarist and predominently plays a Fender American Jazzmaster through a Fender Twin Tone Master amp. Harlen played guitar for various artists in Los Angeles, such as for Australian artist Ruel at the Bowery (NYC) and Fonda Theatre (LA) and was the MD/guitarist for Lily Meola, with whom she often toured Hawaii. Since her accident, Harlen has focused less on guitar and more on producing music within Logic Pro X, collaborating with Beau Golden on keys (Ruel MD) and Sarah Koppen on guitar (Miiesha), Steele Chabau on bass (Katie Noonan) and Libby Scott on drums (Pink Matter).
